Job Summary:

​

The Project Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing civil foundation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. This position involves managing multiple aspects of project execution, from planning and coordinating resources to monitoring progress and reporting. The Project Manager works closely with clients, engineers, and the site team to ensure the successful delivery of industrial services such as BESS stations, solar farms, transmission lines, and other foundation projects. A strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement is essential.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Project Planning: Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets while ensuring alignment with client expectations and company standards.

  • Resource Management: Allocate and coordinate personnel, equipment, and materials required for each phase of the project.

 

  • Scheduling: Create detailed schedules and ensure project milestones are met on time. Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate unforeseen challenges.

​

  • Budget Oversight: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective management of resources.

​

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks to project timelines, quality, or safety, and implement mitigation strategies.

​

  • Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.

​

  • Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and resolve issues promptly.

​

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all work adheres to project specifications, regulatory standards, and company quality protocols.

​

  • Safety Compliance: Promote a culture of safety on-site, ensuring all team members follow safety guidelines and regulatory standards.

​

  • Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and final project closeouts.

​

Requirements:

​

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction or industrial services.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Familiarity with project management software and tools.

  • Commitment to upholding safety and quality standards.

  • Ability to problem-solve and make quick, informed decisions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field. Will consider years of experience as a PM in place of degree.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and various software applications, with strong technological skills to navigate and manage cost trackers and other tools efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

​

  • Experience in civil foundation work or related industrial sectors.

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent.

  • Knowledge of infrastructure projects.

  • Familiarity with OSHA and other safety regulations.

  • Strong understanding of contract management and negotiation.

 

Working Conditions:

​

  • Primarily on-site work with some office-based tasks.

  • Will involve traveling to multiple job sites.

  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and construction site environments.

  • Physical ability to navigate job sites and conduct site inspections.
