Job Summary:

The Construction Supervisor oversees on-site operations, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. This role involves managing construction crews, coordinating materials and equipment, and collaborating closely with project managers and other stakeholders. The Construction Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring that work progresses efficiently, identifying and resolving issues as they arise, and ensuring that safety protocols are strictly adhered to. The position requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to keep projects running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Oversight: Supervise construction activities, ensuring they are performed in line with project plans, schedules, and safety guidelines.

Team Management: Lead and manage construction crews, delegating tasks effectively and ensuring high levels of productivity and quality.

Quality Control: Inspect work regularly to ensure it meets quality standards and resolve any issues that could impact project timelines or outcomes.

Resource Coordination: Work closely with procurement and project managers to ensure that materials, tools, and equipment are available as needed on-site.

Scheduling: Monitor project timelines and adjust work schedules to maintain progress toward completion deadlines.

Safety Compliance: Enforce site safety protocols, ensuring all personnel use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow OSHA regulations.

Reporting: Provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders on project status, potential delays, and any challenges faced.

Issue Resolution: Identify potential problems on-site and work with relevant teams to find solutions that minimize delays and maintain quality.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a construction supervisor or in a similar role within the construction industry.

Strong understanding of construction procedures, methods, and materials.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities on-site.

Good communication skills, capable of providing clear instructions and maintaining open dialogue with workers and stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, including OSHA standards.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
